What to Expect on Your First Visit

 

Brief Paperwork

You can either download the forms or fill them out upon arrival for your first visit.  Please notify us if this injury is related to either an automobile or a work-related accident as those situations require different forms.

Consultation

After completing the paperwork, you will meet with Dr. Wrinn and to discuss any medical problems, concerns and treatment options.

 

History and Exam

The doctor will then go over, in depth, your medical concerns and history.  He will perform a complete chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological exam and will answer any questions that you may have. 

 

X-ray Studies

Depending on your medical situation x-rays may be ordered.  The x-rays will assist in determining the specific treatment plan needed to help you feel your best.

Take Home Instructions

Our care is not limited to just the care you receive in the office.  We want to make sure that you start to feel better and therefore at home instructions will be given on your first visit.  These instructions can include workout exercises/stretches, heat/ice therapy, and tips on what positions and activities to limit or avoid while your body is healing.

The whole process can take 15-30 min for the first visit.  We know your time is valuable, so we will make sure that time spent in our office is on your care and not in the waiting room.
